Take local action toward the global goals.

We call on everyone everywhere to be a part of this effort. Governments, business, communities, and individuals. Young and old. People from all walks of life.

We all know the saying..

“Act Local, Think Global”

But sometimes it’s hard to understand what local actions we can take to solve the world’s most pressing issues. That’s why UNAGB created the Sustainable Development Goal Action Corner, a local resource that clearly identifies actions you can take from New England to support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

What are the SDGs? The SDGs are 17 global goals set forth in 2015 by the United Nations to ensure peace and prosperity for people and the planet by 2030. We won’t reach them unless we all work locally and globally to address these problems.

What is UNAGB? The United Nations Association of Greater Boston (UNAGB) is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit and a proud chapter of UNA-USA. UNAGB is dedicated to building a strong network of global citizens in the Boston area. We inform, inspire, and mobilize members of the community to engage with critical global issues central to the work and mission of the United Nations.

Thanks to our supporters. The UNAGB SDG Action Corner’s development is funded thanks to generous donors like Sequentis Capital and the TD Charitable Foundation and our Model UN Reimagined Parents. To become a sponsor of the SDG Action Corner, contact info@unagb.org.
