  • Engage with the Boston Women’s Workforce Council, who works with the business community in Boston to remove the visible and invisible barriers for working women.

  • Support YW Boston, an organization that help individuals and organizations change policies, practices, attitudes, and behaviors with a goal of creating more inclusive environments where women, people of color, and especially women of color can succeed.

  • Check out the Women's Foundation of Boston, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that creates, funds, and accelerates programs that equip Boston women and girls to be financially independent, successful, and valued leaders in their communities.

  • Get involved with Boston Women's Fund, a foundation that supports community-based organizations and grassroots initiatives run by women and girls in order to create a society based on racial, economic and social justice.

  • Take advantage of Equal Pay MA’s digital resource, created to focus specifically on raising awareness and working towards narrowing the gender wage gap.

  • Become part of General Federation of Women's Clubs, an international women’s organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service.

  • Explore the Women's Fund of Western Massachusetts, which fuels progress toward gender equity by funding the most promising solutions, collaborating with results-oriented partners, and by elevating the collective power of local women to take charge, and to lead with purpose.

  • Learn more about Mass NOW, one of the leading multi-issue, multi-strategy feminist organizations in the Commonwealth.

  • She Should Run provides women interested in running for office with the necessary tools and skillsets to successfully pursue public office.

  • The Leadership Council for Women in National Security (LCWINS) is a nonprofit that works to advance gender equality in national security workspaces. It helps women in the national security workspace with the process of nomination for positions, provides best practices for hiring practices that yield gender diversity, and keeps a database of qualified women for different politically-appointed positions within national security.

  • Become a member of Boston Business Women, whose mission is to spark the success of Boston’s best female business leaders and entrepreneurs.

  • Attend one of Ellevate’s workshops and gain a community of smart, savvy women who want to lift each other up and help our community advance in career, personal development, and balance life, family and health.

  • Support the Barbara Lee Foundation, an organization that advances women’s equality and representation in American politics and in the field of contemporary art.

  • Join MASSChallenge’s global network and get connected with startups, experts, corporations, and communities to grow and transform businesses and economies. 

  • Connect with the Center for Women and Enterprise, a nationally known nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people start and grow their businesses.

  • Attend a meeting hosted by North Shore Women in Business, which fosters opportunities for business women to develop professionally and personally through networking, education, and social.

  • Build business skills and confidence with Women Business Owners Alliance through professional development seminars and meetings, teaching networking/interaction skills, leadership opportunities, and interactive technology.
